About Me

I'm Saeed Zafar — a developer based in Stockholm who is genuinely interested in how things work: code, people, and ideas. I try to bring both halves to every project — the technical rigour to build it right, and the awareness to build the right thing for the right people.

My technical training comes from JENSEN komvux's vocational program in Stockholm, where I've worked across the full stack: front-end with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, and jQuery; back-end with Python and C#; and everything in between — web server programming, CMS tools, and the full cycle of analysing needs, designing systems, and shipping software someone can actually use.

Alongside the technical side, I've invested seriously in applied psychology. I completed a year-long Critical Thinking course covering logical reasoning, bias recognition, and structured argumentation. I'm currently working through Emotional Intelligence — covering the neuroscience of emotion, Goleman's and Mayer-Salovey's EI frameworks, and the real-world skills that quietly decide whether a project succeeds: self-awareness, empathy, conflict resolution, and clear communication under pressure.

I don't think of these as separate worlds. Debugging is logical reasoning. Code review is constructive feedback. Estimating a deadline is mature decision-making. Understanding why a teammate pushes back on an architectural choice — that's empathy and bias recognition working together. That combination is what I'm building toward.
